Love stories have always fascinated me. Proof for that, I myself wrote a love story book. Last sunday I had been to a kannada movie Myna starring Aa Dinagalu fame Chethan and Nithya Menon, who is little known in kannada cinema industry. She is pretty famous in Telugu.
Directed by Nagashekar who had made two films before this; Aramane and Sanju weds Geetha which are blockbusters, Myna is a must watch film for everyone. It really doesnt matter if you are in love or not. All you have to do is go, and have 150 mins of awesomeness. Nithya looks so cute that guys will have pretty hard time not to think about her. Chethan is just awesome as he was in his previous films.
With Myna doing pretty well in box office, Nagshekar is set to be Hattrick director. Jessi Gift songs are awesome. Modala Maleyante sung by Sonu Nigam will make you mad for sure. Sadhu kokila’s background score surprises you. Its just perfect.
It would be unfair if I don’t mention Satya Hegde who has made magic with his cinematography. Every frame is so refreshing. Its definitely a festival for eyes.
My rating : 4.5/5
PS: Its a simple love story executed perfectly on the silver screen. Take your dear one to this movie and I am pretty sure he/she will hug you while watching. And last but not least, It is very encouraging to see kannada films doing well in box office. After Charminar, Attahasa, gombegala love, & Now, Myna, kannda cinema industry is rocking.
